Corrections Wallops HCSD 8 to 3

The Hudson County Department of Corrections garnered a decisive win against the Hudson County Sheriff’s Department last Sunday in an 8 to 3 trouncing.

Scoring loud and proud for Corrections was Tim O’Connor (#10) who racked up three big goals for the night.  Danny Silva (#17) also scored three solid goals and set the bar for the 2010 Best Goal of the Season extremely high with his breathtaking kick from the halfway line that sailed into the net.  Marc Martins (#12) and Joe Menendez (#91) also contributed to the impressive Corrections victory.

The Sheriff’s Department was a man down for the night and struggled throughout the game.  They put forth an excellent effort however and scored three goals.  Team Captain Daniel Beteta (#20) scored for the team as well as Edward Franco (#15) and Gustavo Camano (#9).
