The battle for the winter U.S. Soccer Heroes champions is on this Monday, March 11 at the CERC gym, 180 9th Street in downtown Jersey City.  Two formidable law enforcement soccer teams, the N.J Strikers and the North Bergen Police Department will face each other at center circle.  Asked for his pick of the winner, U.S. Soccer Heroes coaching Director Alex Lalaoui said, “These two teams have been fighting hard all season long.  They both have a really solid chance at grabbing the championship cup.  This will be one of the most captivating finals we’ve ever had.”

The winter championship cup match will begin at 9:40 pm with the U.S. Army Military Police, a newcomer to the U.S. Soccer Heroes league, facing the Hudson County Department of Corrections.  The championship match will follow at 10:15 pm.  Friends, fans, and family members are invited to attend.  Admission to the U.S. Soccer Heroes league games is always free.   This will be the last indoor match of the season prior to the U.S. Soccer Heroes returning to their outdoor league program beginning on Sunday, March 24.

Law enforcement teams are reminded that the North Bergen PBA in cooperation with the U.S. Soccer Heroes is hosting a competitive soccer tournament on Saturday, April 6th in North Bergen to benefit the New Jersey Special Olympics.  Limited team spaces are still available with a full team registration fee of only $250.00.  To reserve your team’s spot, please contact Alex Lalaoui at 201-920-8523.
