NJ Heroes Win 4 Matches, Tie 1 at WPIST

It was a great first showing for the NJ Heroes all-star team from Jersey City as they won four matches, tied one, and lost two in their bid to reach the WPIST semi-finals on Thursday. With a score just a few tenths of a point off of the leader for their division, the NJ Heroes just missed getting a playoff berth. “The experience has been incredible,” reported Coach Alex Lalaoui from the Netherlands. “The team worked really hard, we learned a lot, and we’re ready to take on the WPIST next year.” The team will make their way home to the United States tomorrow.
