Thanks to the generosity of our Monday night soccer pick-up game participants, three Jersey City families received help to recover from the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy.  Three local families in need, identified by the Hispanic American Law Enforcement Association, were provided with $200 checks – funds which were collected from individual soccer players donating $20 each to play soccer pick up games in downtown Jersey City.

“Our players have big hearts and enjoyed a great night of soccer for an even greater cause,” said U.S. Soccer Heroes founder, Coach Alex Lalaoui.  “When our community is in need, we’re here to help.”
