The NJ Heroes League welcomed back playmaker and defensive midfielder Claudio Yanez to the JCFD squad after a long absence with an injury.  He took the field by storm early on scoring the first goal of the night against the Port Authority Police Department.  Both teams brought their “A” game to the pitch – and left the goals blazing.   PAPD forward player Pat (#10) gave tremendous effort in the closing minutes of the game, but JCFD fought back ending in a tie, four to four.   PAPD goalie (yes, goalie!) Derrick Cannon, while substituting scored two big goals of the night and JCFD’s Drennan (#36) orchestrated tremendous action on the field.

Scoring for JCFD was Yanez (#6), Gretton (#11), Budnick (#33), and Drennan (#36).  Scoring for PAPD was Menino (#33), Cannon (#01) with two goals and Alvarardo (#14).
